Begin Again
Even if yesterday was full of scrolls and sighs — His grace is new today.
I wanted less phone time.
More of God, less distraction.
But I failed. Again.
And felt guilty.
Sin isn’t always loud or shocking.
Sometimes it’s just… letting something small go first.
A scroll, a like — and suddenly, time’s gone.
This morning I read about that in my Bible reading plan,
and one verse stayed with me.
I want to share it with you —
so you know you don’t have to do this alone.
“He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
— 1 John 4:4 (ESV)
➡️ That “He” is God — present in you.
➡️ How? Through His Spirit.
Not a feeling, not a thought — He Himself is with you, alive and working in your heart.
🕊️ And there’s always enough grace with Him.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
— 1 John 1:9 (ESV)
🙌 Today, you get to begin again.
Not in your strength — but in His.

Reminds me of the verse “ a bruised weed He will not break, a smoldering wick He will not snuff out” … what an amazing God we serve.
Thanks Rita
Dear Rita, we need this reminder and invitation often, don't we. I'm grateful to reconnect with you this evening!
